January can be a very long, never-ending, cold, harsh month. Not at our house! We are too busy celebrating birthdays to ever get bored. I was telling Keawe how grateful I am for these January and February birthdays we have in our family. There is no time for depressions of any sort. Gotta love that! We kicked off the birthdays with the youngest whirlwind of a boy's 5th! First off, it was on a Saturday..super cool already! HE woke US up to inform us it was his birthday, "and why aren't you guys coming downstairs to sing to me?!" We ended up all gathering into our bedroom for the song and presents. When asked what he'd like for his birthday breakfast he requested Daddy's fruit shakes. Brrrr! Coming right up...

After another hurricane of packages, instructions, toys, and wrapping paper (not far behind Christmas..sigh!) we played with them all! Quick lunch and we headed on over to the movie theatre with his best bud, Jayden, where Grandmas and Grandpas, Aunties, Uncles, and cousins were joining us for a showing of "the best movie of the year" : Alvin and the Chipmunks the Squeakuel. We then convened at Frogurt for presents and frozen yogurt. It was a happy day! Our toy boxes overfloweth! Happy Birthday my big, little guy!
Auntie Natalie, Ethan, and Annie flew in to see Kekoa's baptism and while here gave Alakai his birthday present...a cool shirt!
