36 is Poop in a Basket

I asked Keawe what he wanted me to label this entry and well, there it is!
He cracks me up! So, he wasn't so lucky to get a Saturday birthday...it was on a darn Monday. He was dressed and ready to head off to work by the time I was waking the kids up for school. The kids sleepily gathered in the family room to "sing" (I wouldn't call it that..I think they were still asleep...more like moans) before he left for work. They revived when I mentioned he couldn't leave without birthday spankings from each child..done!
I kidnapped him at lunch and took him to a place called "Charlie Chows." He's been talking about how good that place is so it was fun to go there with him..yummy food! After a quick birthday stop at Home Depot to pick up his birthday present, which was an air compressor with three different nail guns that came with it, (a smaller version of the air compressor that was stolen in the fall) I took him back to work.
Anela (mostly) and I decorated the dining room, cooked his favorite dinner-Ham and Rice Chantilly, made brownies, and waited for his arrival home. (Kanani was at dance) The boys turned off all the lights and we yelled surprise when he came through the door. After Kanani came home from dance we had brownies and ice cream. Hope we were able to turn a rather mundane Monday into a fun birthday! Love you babe!
