Kanani Turns Eleven!!

Our little beauty sailed right through ten and into eleven. It is so fun to have your birthday fall on a Saturday. She requested Dad's egg casserole for breakfast and even helped him make it. Her gift from the family this year was an American Doll namesake. The American Doll of the year is a Hawaiian girl named Kanani. How could we pass that up? Even when I told the girls that they will only receive one American Doll in their lifetime from us (they are pretty pricey) which they got and cherished 2 years ago. Then this gorgeous doll came out this year looking just like our Kanani and I couldn't resist:)
Kanani spent the afternoon writing her novel on the computer. She wants to be a writer someday and has started a book called "Full Speed Ahead." That was what she wanted to do on her birthday..work on her book. We didn't know what to do with ourselves so we played games while she wrote:) We then watched a movie together downstairs and then went out to dinner at her favorite restaurant..Panda Express. We had some family join us there for a bite to eat before heading to our church for Kanani's family Dodgeball birthday party. Talk about a fun time! Her Uncles and Aunties hadn't played since elementary school, and Grandpa Hale? Who knows! We played game after game, paused for cupcakes, ice cream, and presents and then played some more. We will have to do it again! Happy Birthday Princess Kanani:)
