A Very Wet, Soggy Halloween!

Halloween fell on a Sunday this year, so the great thing about living in Utah is you can celebrate it on Saturday and the whole state complies!  Maybe we aren't the only state that does that, what do I know?  Tradition brought all the family members to our home for dinner, trick-or-treating (in the cold and rain!), and a scary movie, "The Others."  It is so much fun to watch mine and Keawe's siblings as their families grow and more little tykes are added to the festivities! Everyone was dressed up in fabulous costumes... (Except for me...it was all I could do to get my kids ready!)

Anela was a toddler in dress-up, Kanani a gangsta, Kekoa a punk rocker, Alakai was Snake Eyes from GI JOE, Malia a witch, Kalai was Bob the Builder, Kendra and Trisha were princesses, Hailee was a lamb, Penny a ladybug, Leila a panda bear, Jared, Kaylani, and Kawika were a monkey, Wicked Witch, and Cowardly Lion from Oz, Greg a monk, Megan a hippie, Rob a Mexican wrestler, Erika a devil, Tiare a tiger, Amber an 80's gal,  and Grandpa Hale a cowboy...

Alakai's best friend, Jayden, dressed up as a white ninja from GI JOE. Alaka'i was soooo excited to see him when he came to our door trick-or-treating. I had to take a picture!
