Our Football Star!

And this is what occupies our Wednesday nights and Saturday afternoons as well! Flag football at it's greatest! Kekoa has only one friend playing with him this year, Jake Bell, but an entire team of new friends. Aggressive coach this year too..and it's a woman! You would think we were training for the pros with the plays she comes up with! Keawe is her assistant and has to keep reminding her that they are only eight and this is only FLAG football. It's been a good season though. They have only lost one game thus far. Not bad!

A couple of cool pictures...Kekoa is chosen quite frequently as wide receiver (maybe because of his gloves that he wears-makes him look and feel official)..is thrown the ball and he can actually catch it! and run! and make a touchdown sometimes! He's also great at pulling those flags off the opponent no matter how much bigger they are than him. He is sometimes the kicker as well and can kick it pretty hard and far! The best part is that he enjoys it immensely. Even when he is hit in the head or thrown to the ground or pushed around. Wants really bad to start tackle football. Mom says no, not yet.
