The first part of the second day was spent 4 wheeling, motorcycling, and repelling with the kids...
The second part of the day was spent gathering our thousands of kids and going on a hike..no small task! Beautiful hike to an arch!
Look at all of our kids!! This is still minus 3! Well, in the first picture anyways. The 2nd picture is just missing Trey (3), and Greta (6 months old). From left to right: Spencer (12),Jackson (12),Anela (almost 12), Ellie (10), Alakai (5), Kanani (10), Conner (almost 12), Lucas (5), Nate (8), Anika (9), Anna (6), Ian (9), and Kekoa (8). Down below in pic #2 in front is Brock (3).

Day 3 was Spencer Sorensen's 12th birthday, so Anela and Conner thought it would be really funny to paint his fingernails while he was sleeping. Spencer slept thru the whole thing, woke up on his birthday and DID NOT think it was funny! As payback, since Conner swore it was all Anela's idea, they got to decorate her face with markers however they pleased. (AFTER we went to church) She was a good sport..kinda think she loved the whole thing..and endured the boys creativity with her markers. Well, she looked so good afterwards that the boys decided to get their faces done as well..Kanani was brought into it because she had provided the fingernail polish! And this is how they looked for the drive home!
We had so much fun!! I think we voted to maybe do a lake next year...1)less desert, 2)instant relief from the heat, and 3)bug repellant works on mosquitos but NOT the Moab biting knats..we were all eaten alive! Again, though..good times!
