Welcome to the world, Leila!

On August 3rd, me and the kids arrived at American Fork hospital around 7:00 pm to await the arrival of their new cousin, Leila. We waited, and waited, and waited, and waited! She arrived at 12:50 am on August 4th! (a LONG labor that turned into a c-section) And YES! the entire family stayed because "darn it! we've been here this long, might as well stick it out!" A quote from all of my children! Here are pictures of us all in the waiting room at 1:15 AM! Many blamed the long wait on Grandma not finishing the baby's blanket yet...hee hee! So after we found out a c-section was in order and no grandma's were allowed in the room for that one, she resumed her work on the darling blanket!

And finally at around 1:30 am, we were able to meet this little (big! 9 lb 8 oz, 21 inches long!) angel. So very precious! We finally understood what the hold up was! How she ever fit inside Tiare, we'll never know, but a direct quote from the proud parents, "It was all worth it!"
