Happy Father's Day!

We're so glad when daddy comes home, glad as we can be! Clap our hands and shout for joy and climb up on his knee. Put our arms around his neck, hug him tight like this! Pat his cheek and give him what? A great BIG kiss!! Love you daddy!

This year for Father's Day, the kids all picked out a gift for daddy that emphasized what they enjoy doing with him. Anela bought him Mint Chocolate ice cream (his favorite) because she and him consume most of the household ice cream together! Kanani bought him the game "Sorry" because she loves playing games with him. Kekoa and Alakai both bought him a set of lacrosse sticks w/ balls because daddy plays all sports with them in the backyard.
Church was cancelled on Father's Day as well due to the Swine Flu breakout on South Mountain. Talk about a relaxing, fun-filled Father's day! He was able to enjoy all of his gifts with the kids and there was no rush to make him breakfast. The kids took over that part and made him his favorite...cheesy eggs and rice!

We also took a drive over to see my dad and wish him a Happy Father's Day. He has had to endure quite a bit this past year and I am forever grateful that everything turned out just fine. He has been a rock of faith for our family growing up and now. We hope to have many more wonderous years with both him and mom. Love you Dad!

How fun to read about your Father's Day! What happened with your dad? You don't have to answer if you don't wish---I just hadn't heard anything! I can't believe you got such a restful Sabbath---How Glorious!
