I love Mother's Day

Being that Mother's Day happened upon a fast Sunday this year for us, (stake conference last week) my sweet kids and husband "forced" me to stay in my bed Saturday morning for a breakfast feast of french toast. I love them, I love them, I love them! I was then given a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a class-made card and gift (wooden pencil holder) from Kekoa. He couldn't wait another day!
Sunday morning I was then given the home-made cards from my kids. They blow me away in that department! I'm glad to know there is a creative bug in my home. Darling!

side note: I then had an interview with the bishopric....Young Women presidency, 2nd counselor...yikes! My feelings of inadequacy are overwhelming. I have never served in the YW before. Haven't been since I was a YW! Heaven help me be what these girls need me to be...

We spent the rest of the day after church in Bountiful with the Naluai's just relaxing, visiting, and playing Bochi. My parents were invited too, so lucky me to spend the day with such wonderful mothers! I truly am blessed to have the mom that chose me in heaven. Her strength, her example, her testimony, her sacrifice, her service, her love, her humor, her will power, her knowledge, her nurturing, her motherhood is never ending. I hope to live in such a way that my own children regard me in possession of just a tenth of what she possesses. My sweet mother-in-law, Judy, is also a rock of example as well. She is the most forgiving, unconditional loving woman I know. No wonder my husband is who he is. It is no doubt a tribute to his mother. Thank you for teaching him to love, forgive, serve, listen, work, support, comfort, and most of all, to be a righteous priesthood holder and patriarch in our home.

I love the mothers in my life.
