Kanani Wins First Place in Reflections Contest

Kanani decided to enter the Reflections Contest this year at Oak Hollow in the Photography category. The theme for this year was "What Diversity Means to Me..." She asked our good friend Rasheeda and her Auntie Angela if she could borrow their hands for the photo. Her idea was that all races can be at peace during all seasons. So her picture displayed Rasheeda and Angela clasping hands holding spring/summer flowers with snow and fall leaves in the background. Pretty neat idea, right? Well, it got her a first place trophy for her category in her age division. Not bad for a first try entry! Way to go Kanani!!  Of course at the assembly I somehow FORGOT my camera!! Duh! But here is her picture...
