Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve with the Naluai side of the family at Grandpa and Grandma's house.  Delicious food, games, and an attempt at the Nativity.  Usually it is a more organized event (Nativity), but we lost some key actors and actresses (Mary and baby Jesus for example) who had to leave earlier for other family parties.  The one shepherd was lying on his back on the floor (Dad)...and well you see what I'm talking about.  We had a fill-in for Mary (Kanani), Malia was the Angel, Kalai was Joseph, Alakai and Kekoa were 2 of the wisemen, Anela narrated...but try doing the Nativity without baby Jesus... We sang carols though and all in all it worked? Too bad I didn't get pictures of it. I was playing the piano.
