A fun Easter complete with Easter chicks!

So Brian and April have become full-fledged farmers(hee hee)with a chicken coop full of baby chicks and teenage hens. Oh so cute! (the chicks) We got to see them only a day after arrival. Hard to think that they start out so fuzzy and cute and grow into something not so attractive! Makes it easier to eat them later on, right?

The next day we headed over to Grandpa's and Grandma's house for Easter bunny celebrations starting with coloring the eggs..

Then gathering all the kidlets together for a fun picture with Grandpa and Grandma. Each of us aunties took at least a dozen or so pictures of this one pose and not ONE of mine came out perfect with all the kids looking at the camera and smiling...kids!

Next came the hunt inside this year due to SNOW on the ground outside..yuck! The Easter bunny was pretty tricky and creative in hiding the loot, however, and the kids had fun and were surprised finding all the many nooks and crannies a bunny can hide stuff in!

Ahhhh, the results were baskets full of treats and faces full of smiles! (or not)

The following week we had Easter with the Naluai's at Tiare and Jonny's house. The Easter bunny came to their basement and the kids enjoyed finding the loot.

Meanwhile the cutie patooties, Leila and Kawika, gave us some Easter poses...Darling!

Afterwards the kids decorated eggs in the kitchen...well, the boys did. The girls had fun just eating dessert.
