This year, because carving pumpkins is Keawe's and my least favorite thing to do at Halloween(so messy! I'm a BIG fan of painting them), Keawe told the kids they could either carve pumpkins or go to Coldstone and get ice-cream with a gift certificate he had won that day. Anela was the only one (big surprise there) that chose ice-cream. Soooo, I got to stay home with the other three and carve away! I did make Keawe run to the grocery store for me so it wasn't uneven. Alakai chose to carve a spider on his pumpkin, Kekoa did a skeleton, and Kanani did a freaky ghoul face on hers. (Kanani did hers ALL BY HERSELF too, I might add...very impressive!) Here are the fabulous results!
I have been watching my sweet little niece, Leila, for the past month and my kids had fun with her today after sorting out their candy from last night's trunk-or-treat. She is too cute!

I have five more at my house you are more then welcome to carve :) Blake and I feel the same way...maybe when the kids get bigger and want to then we'll make it a priority. I love all the pumpkins! Your kids did amazing jobs!!!
I get the pumpkin seeds next year! We wash and roast them with different seasonings...YUMMY! (and they're good for you too!)
