Christmas Eve found us at Grandma and Grandpa Hale's house. There is nothing more magical feeling than those felt the night before Christmas! We had a wonderful dinner, followed by the Christmas story read from the scriptures, followed by presents!
Grandpa Hale helped Kekoa solve his Impossible puzzle..

Temple Square with my Beehives
For our Beehive activity we ventured down to Temple Square to see the beautiful lights. Oh, but it was cold! I think we lasted a little less than an hour before heading home again. FREEZING! But we sure took some fun pictures!

Kekoa Moves on to Senior Red Belt
While admitting this wasn't his best testing day, Kekoa still passed and has advanced to a Senior Red belt in Tae Kwon Do. Only two belts away from a Black Belt! He is so close and has to be constantly reminded to hang in there! and Don't give up! We are so proud of him and how far he has come!
He did get to spar his best friend, Ian, though. That was pretty fun!

The Harline Family is Sealed in the Temple
It was a happy ever after day today when Jonny, Tiare, and Leila were sealed for Time and for all Eternity in the Bountiful temple on their wedding anniversary. Prior to this evening, Leila had been singing quite regularly "I love to See the Temple" for anyone who would listen. She was so excited to wear her pretty white dress too. But nothing compared to the moment when she was brought into the Sealing room. She walked in so reverently and seemed to sense the importance of what was happening. Tiare and everyone else in the room teared up quickly. It was a wonderful evening!

The First Thanksgiving....
Thanksgiving was spent at Grandpa and Grandma Naluai this year. While waiting for the real feast, the kids had put together a small production of the First Thanksgiving. Anela was the poor turkey, and the others were pilgrims and Indians. Super short, but to the point. Anela was shot, eaten, and everyone celebrated their brotherhood. :)

Flash Mob at Gardner Village
Anela participated in a really fun "flash mob" with her two best friends, Alex and Bailey Bell. We had to arrive at Gardner Village early on a Saturday morning, browse around the stores acting like customers and then when prompted, break out in a pre-learned dance joining with a couple hundred other dancers who learned the same dance. It was fun to watch..recorded the whole thing on my camera, but of course didn't take any pictures during the event! Oh well, it was fun to be a part of!
